Our Story

About SOIL

SOIL began as something deeply personal, a quiet inheritance of plant knowledge passed from one generation to the next.

My father, originally from Damascus, grew up watching his grandmother prepare remedies by hand. In her world, healing was simple and intuitive. Plants were respected. Nothing was rushed. Care was part of the process.

What began as curiosity became his lifelong devotion. Over decades, he studied, practiced, experimented, and refined his understanding of natural remedies, not as a trend, but as a way of life.

I was raised around that devotion. Over time, I found myself drawn to the same path, studying herbalism through books, research, and hands on experience, wanting to understand not just how plants work, but why they matter.

Each summer, I return to the south of Austria. I walk the Alpine landscapes slowly, observing plants in their natural rhythm. There is something grounding about learning directly from the land, where European botanical tradition meets ancestral memory.

SOIL is the meeting point of these worlds.
Damascus and Austria. Heritage and intention. Past and present.

Every formula is created with patience, restraint, and respect for the plant itself. We use only what is necessary. Nothing artificial. Nothing excessive. Just carefully prepared materials you can feel comfortable bringing into your daily life.

SOIL is an invitation to slow down, to return to what is real, and to trust what has quietly worked for generations.
